Protesters in Abuja have taken over the Abuja City Gate as call for police reform and an end to police brutality in the country continues.
Protesters have vowed to continue untill all their demands are met and they begin to see credible changes in the police sector.
The youth in Abuja, on Friday afternoon, barricaded the expressway leading to the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport thereby preventing vehicular movement. The blockade has led to heavy traffic jam in the area as motorists were forced to take alternative routes.
Banners were also displayed containing the photographs of victims of police brutality in the country.
Meanwhile, armed policemen attached to the city gate allowed the protesters to move unhindered.
